© Harm Huinink 2010 De Batavia. The ship was build in 1628 for the East Indian Trading Compagnie. The ship went down on the 4th of june 1629. They started a reconstruction in 1985 in Holland by initiative of Willem Vos. She was ready in 1995 A dutch ship from 1829. She was a trading vessel. This is a plastic model from Revell. The model had sails with her, but i did not like them enough to place them. The reproduction of the vessel is in Lelystad without sails too!   Made with Xara
